A simply gorgeous and BIG four piece cabbage ware salad set made by Noritake circa 1930s. This fabulous set consists of the large salad bowl, a very large under plate and a pair of servers. The set has a wonderful raised cabbageware majolica finish in pretty green. The interior of the bowl is smooth and is hand painted with lush salad vegetables of lettuce and tomatoes. The tips of the servers has the matching design.



The under plate measures 28cm in diameter (11 inches). The bowl measures 20cm wide (8 inches) and is 10cm tall (4 inches). The salad servers measure 19cm long (8 inches).



The set is in excellent condition for age and I see no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. There is some very minor wear to the gold trim on the servers, but nothing to detract. All pieces have the Noritake backstamp from the 1930s.
